I’m very interested in becoming a trained facilitator – how does one go about that?

    Bob on Scott Peck:
In the late eighties, my wife, Bee, and I spent a weekend with Scotty and his wife, Lilly, thinking about how WE could help bring his work into the business world. At that time, I was focused on assisting Willis Harmon, author of Global Mind Change, in incorporating ideas from Scott’s book, Different Drum, in Willis’ work with The World Business Academy. Scott advised we attend an FCE session. It was a wonderful experience, and I went on to help Scott develop FCE and later modified the FCE process for my company. Now in my 80’s, I still use the methodology I brought to partners at the Andersen Worldwide Organization in the 1990s. I have used what we call the BeHeard approach and associated technology for the past twenty-five years, facilitating change for Non-profits across New America.

I credit Scottie and FCE for making this work possible. I also believe the work of FCE did not “Die on the Vine”- it has just moved from the formation stage of any transformation to the next level of normalization. There is, of course, much more to do and be learned about Community Building.
Sincerely and with Thanks to all of Scottie’s followers.
